The construction industry loves plastic and why not? It’s strong, long lasting, easily formable and cost-effective. But our future demands a greater number of more sustainable products. So we must continue to find ways to reduce, reuse and recycle single use plastic. And that’s why the next new product in our expanding range of biodegradable bamboo wipes does exactly that.
Biodegradable wet wipes now available in reusable packaging
Today we’re launching our Multi Purpose Bamboo Wipes in a new reusable tub. This tough durable pack is perfect for withstanding the rigours of a building site. But more importantly it’s accompanied in the range by an easy to use refill pack.
Together these products will help trade professionals reduce their plastic consumption by 77%, whilst continuing to enjoy the durability benefits of long lasting plastic packaging, when working in harsh environments.
Reduce, Reuse and Recycle
Hippo Bamboo wipes successfully remove all dirt & grime including most paints, oils and adhesive. However unlike most other wipes they wont hang around for decades because each wipe is fully biodegradable, starting from just 2 months after use.
Once your reusable tub of wipes is empty, you can effortlessly remove the lid and simply fill it up with the contents of a less expensive and plastic busting refill pouch. Then easily drop the economical 30 grams of refill packaging into the nearest recycle bin.
Refill pouches use 77% less plastic – that’s more than a gram saved per wipe!
Why Refill & Reuse Hippo Bamboo Wipes?
Refill pouches cost less and reduce plastic use.
Refill pouches are made from 30% RPET (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate).
Our bamboo wipes are perfectly sized (30cm x 20cm), have a fresh lemon scent and are fully biodegradable.
Bamboo is highly renewable and does not require pesticides or fertilisers to grow.
All our bamboo is sustainably sourced and FSC approved.
All packaging is 100% recyclable.
Responsibly Sourced Bamboo
All our bamboo is responsibly sourced from FSC approved forests. It can grow up to 30cm in one day, which is 30x faster than other trees. Which makes farming bamboo a great counterbalance in the battle against global warming, because it’s so eco-friendly.
